This website
This website is hosted on Cloudflare. It includes no advertising, site analytics, tracking pixels, third-party fonts or embedded social media. It sets no cookies. Launch notification requests are handled by email: sending the prepared request gives us permission to use your sender email address and any optional name to send the public-launch announcement. This is separate from beta enrollment and unrelated marketing. You may withdraw at any time by emailing [email protected]; we will remove your address from the launch list. The website itself does not automatically enroll you. The support and contact forms prepare an email in your chosen mail app; they do not submit or retain your entries on a server.
When you choose to email us, your email provider and our support mailbox process the message, attachments and ordinary email headers. Cloudflare processes network information, including IP addresses and request details, to deliver and protect this website. Its processing is subject to its privacy policy, available at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/.
The SITREP beta app
The following is the existing app privacy notice, carried forward for review. Website and app data flows differ. This website does not create an account, request location access or access your iCloud.
1. Operator, scope and contact
Golf Delta Bravo Aviation, an Arizona limited liability company. Business mailing address: 14555 N Scottsdale Rd., Suite 330, Scottsdale, Arizona 85254. Email: [email protected]. Telephone: +1 (510) 738-4192. This notice covers the native SITREP iPhone/iPad beta and support communications we receive. Apple services, government websites, external data services and your mail provider have their own terms and privacy practices. This notice does not describe a future hosted account service as if it already existed.
2. Apple sign-in and account information
Apple supplies a stable app-scoped user identifier and, when supplied or previously retained, your name and email. Apple may provide a private relay address. SITREP requests name/email through Apple and lets you confirm your name in setup. Identity and contact details are stored in the device Keychain. The app does not retain your Apple password, authorization code or raw identity token. Credential-state checks go to Apple; transient verification failures may retain an existing device session for offline access.
3. Optional profile information
You may provide pilot style, employer/operator, aircraft type, certificates, ratings and an optional certificate number. These entries are self-reported and are not credential verification. The profile uses device Keychain storage; certificate number is excluded from the iCloud sync payload. Avoid entering information you do not want stored on the device.
4. Saved activity and documents
The app stores typed ATIS notes, airport favorites, recent searches, comparison selections, visits/review history, alert preferences, departure/arrival/alternate selections, saved airport sets, imported FPL route points, NOTAM review notes, cached reports, radar material, downloaded diagrams and generated PDF files for the corresponding features. Some exports include airport/route selections, generation-location context and source/generation times. Review an export before sharing it.
5. Location
With your system permission, the app uses precise or approximate device location to find airports, position maps and compile local context. It may retain the last position and fix timestamp locally for restoration. The sign-in map uses an authorized fresh fix or Phoenix fallback. This is device GPS/location, not VPN or IP geolocation. Settings offers an optional public-IP diagnostic through ipify, triggered only when you select Check public IP. That request sends no GPS coordinates or account details; ipify necessarily receives the connection IP. The result is held in the current view, not added to cloud sync, and is not used to determine airport proximity. A geographic weather query or map request can disclose the requested area to its recipient. Provider network logs may reveal approximate location.
6. Private iCloud synchronization
If you enable sync, the app uploads/downloads a versioned ledger in your system iCloud account containing supported profile fields except certificate number, Apple contact details, ATIS entries, favorites and saved airport sets including imported route points. It uses CloudKit privateCloudDatabase, not a public sharing database. The system iCloud account can differ from your Sign in with Apple account. Apple operates the storage. Sync revisions, writer identifiers and deletion tombstones help resolve changes; a protected initial local recovery copy is retained. We do not describe the cloud feature as end-to-end encrypted by SITREP or guarantee immediate delivery.
7. Information excluded from sync
Certificate numbers, last-known GPS/weather caches, downloaded source products, drafts, support forms, recent searches and other unsupported local-only settings are not included in the sync ledger. A PDF or backup may separately contain information from the app. Cloud sync is not a full device backup and does not guarantee recovery of every entry.
8. Network recipients
Requests may go directly from the device to NOAA/NWS Aviation Weather Center, FAA services, Apple Maps/iCloud/sign-in services, radar/data providers, and the configured D-ATIS or flight-data service. Requests contain identifiers or geographic/route query context needed for the feature. Recipients necessarily receive connection metadata such as IP address, request time and user-agent information. Third-party feeds can have separate logs and retention practices. A connection to a provider is not an authorization to send your certificate number or private ATIS notebook to that provider; those fields are not included in weather/NAS/D-ATIS requests.
9. Support and voluntary communications
The support feature assembles the fields you enter and the device/app context shown in its review. Continue to mail app clears the local form and opens a prepared message. Your mail app handles sending; SITREP cannot verify delivery. When you send it, we receive your sending address, name if included, message, attachments and ordinary email headers through the support Gmail account. Remove sensitive information before sending. The form does not request a separate reply email. Do not send Apple passwords, identity tokens, payment-card data or unnecessary certificate information.
10. Testing, analytics and tracking
This build has no dedicated advertising SDK, behavioral-advertising service, cross-app tracking SDK or general-purpose third-party analytics SDK embedded by SITREP. Apple may provide TestFlight install/session/crash/feedback information under its testing services and your settings; screenshots and feedback you submit can contain personal information. External webpages can use their own cookies or analytics. The native app does not implement targeted advertising, sale of personal information, cross-context behavioral sharing or consequential profiling. It has no separate browser Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control setting; its described no-sale/no-targeted-advertising practices apply regardless of such signals.
11. How information is used
Information is used to provide requested app functions, retain your preferences, synchronize supported entries if enabled, answer support/privacy requests, investigate reported bugs, protect the app and comply with applicable law. We do not use certificate numbers to verify licenses or sell user profiles. Feedback may inform product improvements; avoid confidential third-party information in suggestions. The temporary Round 1 welcome stores a local completion flag and acknowledgment timestamp. On your request it prepares an email containing your typed name, timestamp and the introduction for you to review and send. We cannot verify sending or your signature; lifetime-Pro eligibility is not enforced by a server register.
12. Disclosure by the Company
We disclose information to service providers needed to handle communications or operate services we actually use, to recipients you choose, when required by valid legal process, to protect lawful rights/security, or in a business transfer with appropriate safeguards and notice where required. We do not sell personal information or provide it to other businesses for their independent direct marketing in this beta. Private user records are not available for us to browse as a public CloudKit database. Lawful requests must be directed to the entity that holds the requested data.
13. Storage, retention and backups
Device information remains until you clear it, replace it, use a removal control or it is rotated by a feature. The ATIS notebook and favorites currently cap at ten entries/airports; older notebook entries can be removed as new ones are saved. Private cloud records and tombstones can remain after sync is disabled or local data is removed. There is no automatic support-mail deletion schedule currently configured: correspondence may be retained for ongoing support, issue history, security or legal needs until a deletion request is assessed or manual cleanup occurs. This is not a promise of immediate destruction. Apple/mail/backup providers maintain separate copies under their practices; archived exports remain where you save or share them.
14. Security
The app uses system sign-in, device-only Keychain items for specified identity/profile data, protected cached JSON writes and HTTPS for its shared downloader. Controls reduce risk but do not guarantee confidentiality, availability, encryption of every exported copy or prevention of unauthorized access. Secure your device and Apple account, keep software updated and review shared files. Report suspected exposure to the support contact without including secrets. The Company will evaluate security incidents and notifications required by applicable law; this notice does not disclaim statutory security duties.
15. Your choices
You can deny or limit system location permission, disable iCloud sync, sign out, edit optional profile fields and remove supported saved entries. Disabling sync stops future scheduled sync; it does not delete existing cloud copies. Signing out retains local data for the same Apple identity. See Storage & deletion for material limitations. Revoking Apple authorization is a separate system action. We do not require a certificate number to use airport information.
16. Requests and applicable rights
Email [email protected] with Privacy request and identify the app/account and request using only necessary information. Depending on applicable law and exemptions, you may have access, correction, deletion, portability, appeal, restriction or opt-out rights. We will assess identity and authority proportionately, respond within applicable legal timeframes, and explain a refusal or available appeal route. We cannot retrieve or erase a private cloud copy merely because an email asserts ownership. We may ask you to use device/iCloud controls or provide information sufficient to locate Company-held mail. We do not retaliate for exercising applicable rights.
17. California and other U.S. residents
California privacy and consumer rules may apply depending on the activity and statutory thresholds. The Company does not claim that every comprehensive state privacy statute applies to this small beta, or that naming rights creates an exemption from laws that do apply. Precise location and some account/profile information can receive heightened protection. Where applicable, request disclosure of categories/specific data and recipients, correction, deletion, portability, limits on sensitive-data use, or appeal of a refusal. There is no sale, targeted advertising or cross-context behavioral sharing to opt out of in the described beta. Invited Round 1 testers are promised lifetime Pro as a thank-you for beta participation, not for selling personal information. An automated entitlement register is not implemented. Any later qualifying financial-incentive program requires its own applicable notice and choices.
18. Children and international use
The private beta is intended for invited adult users and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child supplied information, contact support so we can assess and address it as required. Source-data support is U.S.-focused. Apple and other recipients may process information in the United States or other countries; we do not promise that using an unsupported foreign airport triggers a particular country-specific service.
19. Changes
This notice is dated 4 November 2026. Material changes to data practices will be described through an updated policy and appropriate in-app or other notice before or when required by law. Consent will be obtained when legally required. The current policy must be accessible in About SITREP > Legal & privacy. Revisions do not retroactively expand consent, waive accrued rights or convert an unimplemented feature into an active collection practice.
